Dear Friends:

We know you share a common interest in beautifying the Village of Saugerties by planting more street trees.  Last year private donations along with Village funds paid to plant 12 large trees (Japanese Zelkovas, Winter Hawthorne, Sugar Maples, and White and Scarlet Oaks) in prominent sites along Ulster Avenue, Market and Partition Streets.  With your help, we can plant more street trees again this year, adding to the landscape that so beautifies and improves our environment.

We plan to return to Story’s Nursery this year and with a jump start will order, select, and plant our trees early.  What a joy it will be to see them get into the ground in time for the spring rains.  We will select highly visible locations and work closely with the Village Beautification Committee.  Your tax deductible contribution will greatly help enhance our historic village, giving pleasure to all who visit, walk, and ride in the village. 

If you would like to purchase and dedicate a tree in the memory of a loved one, please let us know if you wish a marker at an additional cost of $50.

Saugerties Hudson River Partnerships, Inc. has kindly agreed to act as sponsor for our annual tree fund and one hundred percent of the money will be devoted to the tree planting project.  Please send a check to support this effort made out to the Saugerties Hudson River Partnerships, Inc. in the following categories:
