Established in 1996 by Guy and Eleanor Monfett, Dogwood Kennels was started by people who love dogs. Their two sons, Guy and Nathan, work at the kennel also, as Sanitation Engineers and Recreation Coordinators. Jessie Churchill, another of the kennel employees, prepares each dog's food and is looking forward to attending Veterinary School. Jessie also tends to the everyday needs of our guests and facilities.

GROOMING
We are a full service Grooming salon with 15 years experience. A groom consists of a brushing, clipping appropriate for your breed, bath, nails clipped or ground, ears cleaned and glands emptied. We offer a full range of medicated baths for dry skin, oily skin, fleas or ticks. As always, I am on the lookout for any medical problems that you or your vet should be alerted to.

BOARDING
We offer indoor/outdoor individual runs which are kept warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Each dog gets a daily romp in the exercise yard but more exercise time can be purchased.

Don't forget our new VIP room(very important pooch). Your dog can lounge on the couch, watch TV or listen to their favorite radio station. Maybe they would rather just sleep in front of the fireplace. We find a lot of dogs like to give the kids strategic advice while they play video games.

Whether in the kennel or the VIP room, each dog gets individual attention, love and care. Each dogs unique requirements are always considered. We love your pet and want their vacation to be relaxing.

All pets must be up to date with all their vaccinations. All dogs must also have a bordatella vaccination and cats must also have been tested and vaccinated for feline leukemia. If you want to keep them on their own diet, please bring that with you. You can also bring any beds or blankets and toys that will make them feel at home. No need to bring bowls.

The costs are $20 per night for dogs and $12 per night for cats. The VIP room is $35 per night. Extra romps can be bought for $2 per 15 minutes, $5 per walk and don't forget, we also offer full grooming services.


CAT BOARDING
Our cat room includes a fish tank for viewing pleasure, toys to play with and a rocking chair to lay on. There is a cat tree to climb which leads to lounging perches where your cat can get a "birds eye view" of all thats going on. We can take care of all
