ANNOUNCING THE 2007 4TH ANNUAL SAWYER MOTORS ANTIQUE, CLASSIC AND HOT ROD CAR SHOW IN THE VILLAGE OF SAUGERTIES, NY!

(JULY 2007)…Engines are revving up for what is expected to be the event of the summer season. The 4th Annual Sawyer Motors Car Show, July 8, 2007, 1 – 6 pm, takes place in the Village of Saugerties where streets not only closed to traffic – but – are lined with more than 300 of the most incredible hot rod, classic and antique cars. All vehicles vie for a top 25 trophy. This event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

Live entertainment on every festival corner, doo wop, a cappella and rock and roll…featuring entertaining sensations – the Big Smoothies, the extraordinary harmony officianados - the Encounters, eleven year old blues protege – Myles Mancuso and the Purple Ryders, DJ giant - the K Man…between the hours of 1 – 6. Guest appearances will be announced as the car show approached.

Saugerties has rolled out the carpet --- Mayor Bob Yerick and Town Supervisor, Greg Helsmoortel and their staffs as well as police, shopkeepers, ambulance personnel and recreation staff work in a cooperative effort to create this most incredible afternoon event. July 8, 2007 is a day to put on your calendar.

This year’s proceeds benefit The Children’s Annex. Meet staff and families. Have the opportunity to hear, first hand, what is being done in Ulster County to provide state of the art services to children with autism.

Bob Siracusano, owner of Sawyer Motors underwrites the event. Sawyer Motors staff and volunteers number seventy five dedicated individuals.
