ANNOUNCING THE 2008 5TH ANNUAL SAWYER MOTORS ANTIQUE, CLASSIC AND HOT ROD CAR SHOW IN THE VILLAGE OF SAUGERTIES, NY!

(JULY 2008)…Engines are revving up for what is expected to be the event of the summer season. The 5th Annual Sawyer Motors Car Show, July 13, 2008, 1 – 6 pm, takes place in the Village of Saugerties where streets not only closed to traffic – but – are lined with more than 400 of the most incredible hot rod, classic and antique cars. All vehicles vie for a top 25 trophy. This event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

Live entertainment on every festival corner, will feature vocal group hall of famers, Jay and the Americans along with the Big Smoothies, HotRod, DJ Ken Card and live radio, WBPM.…between the hours of 1 – 6.

Saugerties has rolled out the carpet --- Mayor Bob Yerick and Town Supervisor, Greg Helsmoortel and their staffs as well as police, shopkeepers, ambulance personnel and recreation staff work in a cooperative effort to create this most incredible afternoon event. July 13, 2008 is a day to put on your calendar.
