The 2nd Annual MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY will take place at Cantine Field in Saugerties, NY, on Sunday, October 4th from Noon to 4 p.m.

This event is sponsored by SAGE (Saugerties is About Growth Experiences) to celebrate the Saugerties Community; its diversity and those youth and adults who make a difference through volunteerism.  This event is modeled after the nation-wide “Make A Difference Day” created by USA Weekend Magazine; the most encompassing national day of neighbors helping neighbors.

The Saugerties event will include fun for kids, information for adults and entertainment for everyone – free of charge!!  Like last year, there will be live bands, athletic and dance performances, bike rodeo, face painting, and more!  Awardees of the Saugerties Youth Awards Participants in the Mayoral/Town Supervisor Awards will be honored for their efforts to make a difference.  In addition, there will be a tasting pavilion with samples from local restaurants and a health and services fair showcasing available resources.

This event is made possible by the support of local donors; if you would like to be a donor this year, contact the Jack Bennett, Ulster Prevention Project at (845) 458-7406.
