Antique Car Show Each year, visitors to Saugerties look forward to the annual Sawyer Motors Antique, Classic and Hot Rod Car Show in the Village of Saugerties, NY!

It's held in July each year. In 2010, the date is Sunday, July 11th.

The show takes place in the Village of Saugerties where streets are not only closed to traffic – but – are lined with more than 400 of the most incredible hot rod, classic and antique cars. All vehicles vie for tropies/awards. This event is FREE TO THE PUBLIC.

There's live entertainment at each corner of the festival, and the atmosphere couldn't be any more fun or festive!

Sawyer Car Show Saugerties Saugerties typically rolls out the carpet --- Mayor Bill Murphy and Town Supervisor, Greg Helsmoortel and their staffs as well as police, shopkeepers, ambulance personnel and recreation staff work in a cooperative effort to create this most incredible afternoon event.

STREETS BOPPIN’?

Cruise back to the 1930’s, 40’s, 50’s, 60’s in Saugerties, on Sunday, July 11th, from 1 pm to 6 pm. The streets come alive with hundreds of antiques, classics and hotrods for the Sawyer Motors 7th Annual Car Show..

Entertainers Souled Out, The Big Smoothies and HotRod will have the streets boppin’ all day long. Directly from Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino,
Souled Out is a ten member musical ensemble that specializes in the great Motown and Soul sounds. Featuring three lead vocalists, the group weaves its way through Motown and the 70s with authentic choreographed dance routines and outstanding musicianship. Not only is Souled Out a sensational listening and dancing experience, it is an awesome visual one as well! Well-known regional artists The Big Smoothies and HotRod will surely add too the dance fever. In addition, the Kids Korner is a huge addition to the Sawyer Motors Car Show event. Children can enjoy a bounce house, games, prizes, face painting and more.

Known as the best little car show in the northeast, the Sawyer Motors Car Show attracts thousands of spectators to this free to the public event. This year’s event benefits Inflight, Inc. a not-for-profit organization providing supports and services to people in our community.
