Each year, Saugerties' Decks and Docks event is a great success!  On a sun-filled day participants come by kayak, rowboat, auto, bike, and on foot to explore the Esopus Creek and Esopus Bend Nature Preserve.

The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve and creek-front property owners welcome visitors to share their decks, docks, lawns, and patios with enthusiasm and generous offerings of food and drink.  One participant, looking forward to future events, summed it up: ". . . a splendid introduction to the unexpected beauties of some watery corners of Saugerties, and the opportunity to make some fascinating new friends."

When this event rolls around, come on out to show your support for the Esopus Creek Conservancy (ECC).  Come by boat, come by car, ride your bike, walk or hike . . . come delight in the creek and the flora, fauna, and neighbors who call it home.
