Next on the agenda was the Ulster-Green ARC presented by Jo Cicale. She mentioned that the organization helps 1,300 to 2,000 people who have disabilities. The Esopus Creek Conservancy was the next organization presented by Susan Bolitzer. Susan announced that there was an information pamphlet available to any attendees who wanted one. The Saugerties Art Lab was next on the agenda. Katie Emerson-Hoss announced that Art Lab celebrated its 5th anniversary last month with a meeting at the Kiersted House. Donations and volunteers are some of the support the Art Lab would make good use of. The next not-for-profit was the Farmers Market presented by Judith Spektor, who said that for the colder winter months the Market would be held indoors at the Senior Center each Sunday before major Holidays. Everyone can support the Market by simply attending the Markets. The indoor Market features many local food products as well as some arts and crafts. Local businesses can support the Market by posting fliers. Judith announced that the Market will be using some vacant storefronts to display window designs promoting the Market. There is a weekly e-newsletter available to anyone who would like to register to receive it online. Barbara Bravo and Gus Peterson were next, representing the Saugerties Artists Tour. They announced that they just held the 7th Tour this past August, and it was a huge success. Barbara read the mission statement and goals of the organization.
