Judith Spector Saugerties Farmers Market

Introduced the winter farmers market to be held at the Saugerties Senior Center

Nancy Campbell/John Eichmann Hors N around Saugerties

Catskill made 90 k in profit and this program is modeled after the Catskill Campaign

Need 25 people to sign up and have 8.  The deadline is Nov 1.

Kick off Memorial Day weekend opening weekend of HITS

A horse sponsorship starts at $550

Auction will occur in the VIP pavilion of Hits at the end of the season

Also marked as Quadricentennial event

Horses will be displayed May thru Labor Day

Miriam Adams presented the discount Advertising program

Summary of discounts and contact information for vendors is posted on the chamber website

Several publications and 2 radio stations have agreed to provide Saugerties area chamber members with discount advertising packages.

3 of the vendors were available to present the discounts offered

Tim Keenan presented for Cumulus Broadcasting

Diversification is not working however this will change

Alternative Energy investments will have their days

Kevin Brady introduced Precision Flow and provided a sense of what the company does,

They evolved from the semiconductor

Kevin expressed a need to spread the word regarding the chamber activities and asked the membership to provide thoughts and ideas so that the chamber can continue to grow and provide services.

Village of Saugerties revolving loan fund $357,0000 available for lending for renovation, expansion contact Mary Frank at Village office

Sawyer Service Bank services the loans.  More details will be sent to the chamber members for distribution to the membership.

Membership suggested that we utilize our website more for promoting chamber businesses and events.

Council of churches made the following announcement

Boy scouts food drive will occur on November 18.  The supplies in our food pantries are extremely low.

December 17^th annual Toy store for families of needy children will be open

Meeting for next month is to be announced.  Will be at New World Home Cooking.  Maurice Hinchey will be the guest speaker.
