Update on SACofC data base-Kevin’s people are working on and is about 65% complete.

We will be able to accecc SACofC member’s names,addresses and phone #s when complete.

This ‘Quickbooks’ data bank will be in sync with iContact which the Chamber uses to communicate with members.

SACofC member’s meeting-no members meeting in Nov ‘08.....next member’s meeting will be scheduled or early December(date to be confirmed) nd will be a ‘mixer’....with finger food and a special speaker(might be Maurice Hinchey...
to be confirmed) and might be held at ew World Home Cooking(to be confirmed).To be included on agenda:

• Holiday in the Village
• New program offering SACofC members discounts on services & merchandise from other members. to be announced.
• Discussion on 9 current SACofC board members:

It was decided to review which Board member's term is up and when.

Possible nominees:

• Michael Haas-Looking Glass (Mike will call to discuss interest)
• Christine Clark-The Clark House B&B (Mark will call to discusss interest)
• Beth Murphy-Saugerties Economic Dev Comm. (Mike will call to discuss interest)
• Peggy Schwartz-Town & Country Liquor (Mark will call to discuss interest)

SACofC Committee discussion-we now have the following committees (5):

• Membership Comm
• Marketing Comm
• Web Development Comm
• Fund Raising Comm
• Special events Comm

It was suggested that we narrow it down to 3 committees:

• Membership
• Marketing/Web Dev
• Special events/Fund Raising

We discussed the Chamber website-Mike asked that board members review
the present website and make any suggestions they have to make it better/more ‘user friendly’.
