Marketing

• Brochure - Inclusion of SACofC businesses in the tens of thousands of printed "Discover Saugerties" brochures printed annually, since 2008.  This alone is worth more to members than the yearly application fee.
• Web - Advertisement for your business on the highly visible, popular and much-visited Chamber's “Welcome to Saugerties” web site.  As a member, you get a detailed listing, banner and full page with links.  This can in effect be your web site, or it can supplement a web site that you already have.
• Events - Opportunity to display and promote your business services at the chamber booth at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival and burgeoning Flea Market, as well as other events, often attended in cooperation with other vibrant Saugerties organizations, such as the Saugerties Economic Development Committee and Kiwanis Club of Saugerties.
• "Power in Numbers" Discounts - Discounted print and radio advertising opportunities.  
• Television - Media exposure (Lighthouse TV23) through the Chamber’s not-for-profit status.  This has begun with coverage of the Saugerties Chamber’s Holiday in the Village event. 

Communication Opportunities

• "Network" with your peers ­- Meet with the more than 100 Saugerties Village and Town business people who are members, as well as key officials and personalities in our area.  Share information and ideas and make connections in the friendly and dynamic meetings that always include ample social interaction time.
• Meet and influence business leaders and government officials -- The SACofC regularly invites business leaders and government officials to our member meetings, and they are interested in what's on the mind (individual and collective) of the Saugerties business community. 

Special Events

• Association with the high-quality, fun events that the Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce puts on, including the Summer Sunset Concert series, the public art display and auction, and Holiday in the Village.
  
  The Summer Concert Series showcases local musical talent, and offers anyone attending a great opportunity to hear great music, free, in one of 3 scenic Saugerties outdoor locations.
  
  The Public Art display ran for 2 years as a horse-themed event, and in 2011 it transitioned to a Saugerties lighthouse theme.  This provides a great tourist attraction for the Village and by extension, for all of Saugerties.
  
  The Chamber-sponsored “Holiday in the Village” focuses ever-growing attention on and brings visitors to the Village for an early December Sunday event, with crafts, toy give-aways, entertainment, ice sculpting, free many items to see, hear, to do and enjoy for all ages.
    
• Our special events work continues to focus on a blend of Town (Sunset Concerts) and Village (Holiday in the Village) events.

SACofC Discounts

• Group discounts: Health Insurance, heating oil and other discount offerings.  We will pass along to members the best discounts that we can negotiate, each year. 
• Member-to-member discounts: The Chamber’s Web page lists the discounts that members offer to other Saugerties Area Chamber of Commerce members.
• Discounts for Chamber initiatives:  For events such as Holiday in the Village and planned marketing items such as a Saugerties business-friendly map, as a Chamber member you will receive discounts for your participation.

Tax Deduction

•       Your membership fee for the Chamber is tax deductable.
