Communication Opportunities

• "Network" with your peers ­- meet with the more than 100 Saugerties Village and Town business people who are members, as well as key officials and personalities in our area.  Share information and ideas and make connections in the friendly and dynamic meetings and social time that Chamber meetings have evolved to.    
• Meet and influence business leaders and government officials -- the SACofC regularly invites business leaders and government officials to our member meetings, and they are interested in what's on the mind (individual and collective) of the Saugerties business community. 

• Web - Advertisement for your business on the highly visible, popular and much-visited Chamber's “Welcome to Saugerties” web site.  As a member, you get a detailed listing, banner and full page with links. 
• Events - Opportunity to display and promote your business services at the chamber booth at the Hudson Valley Garlic Festival and burgeoning Flea Market, as well as other events, often attended in cooperation with other vibrant Saugerties organizations, such as the Saugerties Economic Development Committee and Kiwanis Club of Saugerties.
• Brochure - Inclusion of SACofC businesses in the tens of thousands of printed "Discover Saugerties" brochures printed annually, beginning in 2008.
• "Power in Numbers" Discounts - Discounted print and radio advertising opportunities.  
• Television - Media exposure (Lighthouse TV23) through the Chamber’s not-for-profit status.  This has begun with coverage of the Saugerties Chamber’s Holiday in the Village event. 

• Kickoff of the Saugerties-Chamber-sponsored 2008 Saugerties Sunset Concert Series, continuing on as a yearly concert series each subsequent year. 
• Saugerties-Chamber-sponsored Saugerties GIANT Flea Market (kickoff October 2008, and planned to be continued as once-a-month events, May through October).
• Saugerties-Chamber-sponsored “Holiday in the Village” focuses attention on and brings visitors to the Village for an early December Saturday (Open House) and Sunday (Winter Festival) with something to do and enjoy for all ages.   
• Our special events work continues to focus on a blend of Town (Sunset Concerts, GIANT Flea Market) and Village (Holiday in the Village) events.

• Health Insurance, heating oil and other discount offerings.  We will pass along to members the best discounts that we can negotiate, each year.
