Lighthouse TrailHiking Trail leading to Saugerties Lighthouse on the Hudson River

Esopus Creek ConservancyHike the Esopus Bend Nature Preserve
To access the preserve from 9W in Barclay Heights, take Overbaugh Street. Make a left onto Simmons Drive, a right onto Appletree Drive and a left onto Shady Lane. There is a parking lot that can accommodate a few cars. When you enter the preserve at Shady Lane you can follow a 1.2 mile loop trail with blue markers.
